The USPS has
been informed that some payroll checks
for PP4 are delayed due to FedEx
network/transportation issues. This is
impacting several Areas. The checks may
not be received at the destination
office by payday, Friday, Feb 19.
District and Local management have been
instructed that impacted employees will
need to be issued a Salary Advance via
AdjustPay. The employee is entitled to
the full amount of the check as listed
on the payroll register. At this time
we do not have a list of impacted
facilities.
President Dimondstein has requested the
list of impacted facilities and
employees. There should be no dispute
over advances. Any impacted employee who
requests an advance is entitled to get
one in the full amount of the net check
through AdjustPay.
We are awaiting instructions from local
management on how employees should make
their request for an advance. More
details will be provided when they are
known. Employees who do not want an
advance andchoose to wait for their
check need do nothing. Employees with
direct deposit are not affected by this
delay.
