CLOSURES AND OTHER IMPORTANT
INFORMATION
|
|
As of December 10, 2020, Andy Kubat,
Chad Beer, and Marty Kroboth have been
identified through close contact tracing
and have been ordered, by the USPS, to
quarantine.
None of us have tested positive or are
showing symptoms, but we have been
named, under CDC guidelines for contact
tracing, as having had close contact
with an employee who has tested
positive.
As a result, we have been ordered
by the USPS Occupational Health Nurse to
quarantine and we will not be permitted
to return to work until
12/15/2020.
(last contact was on 12/01, so the 14
days would end on 12/15)
The APWU office has been sanitized.
In the meantime, we will be
getting as much work done as possible by
working remotely.
We will be in daily contact with
the T-2 stewards and will be checking
the answering machine multiple times per
day.
Please, be
patient as we work through this
disruption.
We understand that this makes things
more difficult, but we have no say in
this matter.
We will do what we can to get
keep the lines of communication open.
Please, do what you can to stay safe.
Wash your hand frequently.
Wear gloves and use sanitizer.
Wear your mask.
Encourage coworkers to wear
theirs because their mask protects you
as well as themselves!
